Joining Lendonwood Gardens
Lendonwood Gardens is a private, nonprofit corporation. The purpose of the gardens is to preserve and display unusual and rare plants and to provide horticulture research so that these plants may be used on a routine basis in home landscaping.
You can help us reach these goals by joining Friends of Lendonwood, composed of two groups. One group includes people who volunteer their time and skills; another group supports the garden with financial contributions and fund raising. In addition to working in the garden, volunteers may receive instructions on new plant materials and learn successful methods when working with unusual plants as well as practicing effective gardening skills. Financial contributions are used to pay for materials such as flowers, seeds and fertilizer and for labor and maintenance in the garden.
Friends of Lendonwood are asked to join the organization each year. Members of each group are entitled to access to the garden and will be invited to attend special events at the garden.
Lendonwood Gardens depends on your support for its preservation and maintenance. Thank you for your contribution to the future of Lendonwood.
