Held on the grounds of the botanical garden in Grove, the gala theme of “Night Time in New Orleans” will be reflected in a catered gourmet menu, live music and outdoor ambiance. More than 30 area artists and artisans have registered for the 2013 Art in the Garden exhibit and sale on Saturday, May 4, at Lendonwood Gardens in Grove. A wide range of mediums will be represented, from jewelry-making to quilt-making to fine arts. The show opens at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Nearly 200 third-graders from Grove Lower Elementary School have been invited to visit Lendonwood Gardens Friday, April 26, for the annual “Earth Day at Lendonwood” field trip.
