July 2, 2014, ARKANSAS MODEL T CLUB TO VISIT LENDONWOOD, JULY 19, 2014

About 20 Model T automobiles are scheduled to converge on Lendonwood Gardens Saturday, July 19, as part of a three-day summer tour of northeastern Oklahoma. Members of the Arkansas Tin Lizzies Model T Club are planning to visit the botanical garden in Grove, arriving in their vintage cars for an afternoon tour.

March 29, 2014, LENDONWOOD SPRING WORKDAY DRAWS RECORD NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS

A record number of more than 70 volunteers, including about 40 Grove Rotarians, appeared at Lendonwood Gardens to “Wake Up the Gardens” during the spring workday on Saturday, March 29. February 14, 2014, CALLING ALL ARTISTS FOR ART IN THE GARDEN EVENT AT LENDONWOOD

January 20, 2014, LENDONWOOD TAKES WINTER BREAK FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

Lendonwood Gardens is taking a “winter break” now through the end of February, in order to make some improvements that will enhance visitors’ enjoyment of the botanical garden.

Jim Reynolds, president of the garden’s Board of Directors, said he believes the public will be impressed by the changes and enhancements. “We decided to temporarily close the garden, something we’ve never done before, in order to concentrate our efforts and ensure public safety around the construction projections.” Click for complete article (PDF)
